The Digital Slide Scanner is used for all studies in Pathology that require digital copies of the slides that are produced by the Pathology Lab or that require digital image analysis for data collection. \n\n The Digital Slide Scanner is needed to create digital copies of tissues on glass slides that can be shared with other researchers or used in research publications. It is also needed to provide image analysis to obtain quantitative data from images.
