No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The FWS PUERTO RICAN PARROT ESFO intends to award a sole source purchase order to HOLOHIL SYSTEMS LIMITEDto furnish: XM3CMD-Transmitter, Qty 60. Specifications ¿ Collar Setup Model\tWeight\tStandard Life\tLifespan Potential^\tDiameter x Length (mm)\tPrevious Model # XM3C\t14g\t18 months\tUp to 36 months\t10 x 40\tSI-2C Mortality (suffix ¿M¿): After a preset period (1 to 23 hours) of no movement, the pulse rate changes (to an increased rate OR a double pulse) to indicate mortality. After the mortality mode has been triggered, any motion resets the transmitter to the normal pulse rate. Locking mortality is also available. Duty Cycling (suffix ¿D¿): To conserve battery power and extend the lifespan, the transmitter can be programmed to enter low-power mode each day (from 1-23 hours). During this low-power mode, the unit can be silent (0ppm) or programmed to pulse at a greatly reduced rate (4, 6, or 8ppm). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334220 with the size standard of 1250 employees. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) / Product Service Code (PSC) procurement is 7G22. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: ¿\tFederal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.
