The service shall encompass the scope of providing onsite preventive and corrective maintenance of Horcher Medical Systems ceiling mounted patient lifting systems installed throughout the Durham VA Healthcare System, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 (including Greenville Health Care Center (HCC)) to ensure that they are safe for patient use. The vendor will provide Service calls placed during normal business hours shall be answered within 30 minutes of initiation and the contractor shall have a service representative onsite within 4 \nbusiness hours of initiation. All work is to be performed in accordance with the guidelines established by Federal, State and local ordinances, with the FDA and manufacturer s guidelines.\n\nThe NAICS code for this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.\n\nThis U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in repairing and maintaining one or more of the following: (1) consumer electronic equipment; (2) computers; (3) office machines; (4) communication equipment; and (5) other electronic and precision equipment and instruments, without retailing these products as new.
