{"description":" The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Savannah District, is conducting market research in regard to a potential Small Business Set-Aside for the construction of an Air Traffic Control Tower under NAICS 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $45M. The project will be located at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. \n \n Scope Summary - Construct a new Air Traffic Control Tower consisting of reinforced concrete foundations and footings, brick veneer and insulated metal panel exterior walls, load-bearing masonry for the ground floor and structural steel frame for the tower and sloped standing seam metal roof. Functional areas include offices for personnel, training and briefing area, ready/breakroom, simulator room, elevator, mechanical/electrical/communications rooms, storage area, restrooms, and control cab. The new facility will include appropriate power, 750KW backup generator, heating ventilation and air conditioning, fire and lighting protection, and communications systems.
