The below ten sites have been identified as being suitable for hosting a Night Market: 1. Haupapa Street carpark 2. Memorial Plaza 3. Lake Road carpark at the Lakefront 4. Tutanekai Street (Historical location of the Night Market) 5. Government Gardens at the Arches 6. Government Gardens – Joseph Ward Road 7. Village Green/Memorial Park 8. Energy Events Centre carpark 9. Kuirau Park, at the Footbaths 10. Kuirau Park, Corner of Pukuatua Street and Kuirau Street Rotorua Lakes Council (RLC) is open to Proposals for the Management of the Rotorua Night Market, which currently takes place on Thursdays evenings between 4.00-5.00pm to 8.00-9.00pm, weather dependant, all year round.
