Compatibility: Must be compatible with S3 Stryker inpatient beds currently in use at the facility. Integration: Must easily connect to and extend the length of S3 Stryker beds without the need for modifications to the existing bed frame. Adjustable Length: Must allow for adjustable length to accommodate various patient needs, typically extending the bed from 76 inches to 84 inches. Weight Capacity: Must have a minimum weight capacity of 600 lbs to safely support patients without compromising stability. Attachment/Detachment: Must be easy to attach and detach from the bed frame without specialized tools, enabling quick setup and removal. Locking Mechanism: Must feature a secure and reliable locking mechanism to prevent accidental disengagement once attached. Surface Material: Surface material must be hypoallergenic, easy to clean, and disinfect to maintain high hygiene standards and reduce infection risk. Entrapment Prevention: Design must prevent entrapment risks by ensuring no gaps between the extender and the bed when properly installed. Patient Comfort: Must provide a smooth and comfortable surface for the patient to facilitate easy repositioning and reduce the risk of pressure ulcers.
