The DCC maintains 1,071km of sealed roads. The pavements under these roads are renewed at a rate of approximately 3km each year when they have reached the end of their useful life. Previously we have tendered a package of pavement rehabilitation sites each year. To create efficiencies whilst still ensuring value for money is obtained for our ratepayers, we are looking to create a panel of construction partners to deliver pavement rehabilitation and re-sealing works long term. This is an opportunity for a physical works contractor, with pavement rehabilitation and re-sealing experience, to be part of a construction panel.
