{"description":"GC26 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM REPLACEMENT Sources Sought Notice Fire Detection and Alarm System Upgrade ¿ Glen Canyon Powerplant and Associated Facilities This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. The Government is seeking qualified and capable contractors to perform the following work. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations. Project Location: Glen Canyon Powerplant, approximately 3 miles northwest of Page, Arizona, in Coconino County. Principal Components of Work: ¿\tRemove, dispose of, and replace existing fire detection and alarm systems. ¿\tRemove existing interconnection wiring for the fire detection and alarm system. ¿\tDesign, furnish, and install a new fire detection and alarm system at three locations: Glen Canyon Powerplant, Carl Hayden Visitor Center, and Facility Workshop Building. ¿\tProvide a new laptop computer compatible with and able to operate and monitor the system. ¿\tCommunicate and integrate alarm signals from fire alarm panels at the Government Project Warehouse Building, Carl Hayden Visitor Center, and Facility Workshop. ¿\tDesign, furnish, and install a hybrid water mist fire suppression system in the powerplant computer room. ¿\tModify 120-volt distribution systems to accommodate new fire detection and alarm equipment. ¿\tIntegrate new fire alarm system with existing elevators, stairwell pressurization system, generator CO¿ release system, transformer deluge system, and HVAC systems. ¿\tTest and commission all systems. ¿\tPlan and sequence work to eliminate or minimize interruptions of service to critical station loads within the plant.
