HNZ, with support from the National Infrastructure Funding and Financing (NIFF), is exploring private financing, development, maintenance, and operating arrangements for hospital car parking across 13 sites in New Zealand. HNZ is interested in exploring the ability for concession arrangements to enable delivery of this infrastructure and potentially generate up-front capital for reinvestment in new health infrastructure. Although not a preferred model and not the primary purpose of this RFI, HNZ would also be open to exploring leasing arrangements for parking infrastructure proximate to, but not located on, land owned by HNZ.
