SUNet is a government owned, secure, unclassified digital environment that enables DoW and mission partners to rapidly experiment with new software and develop Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) tools off the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN)-- without sacrificing cybersecurity. SUNet acts as a digital sandbox and provides logically segmented areas of compute and storage resources for DoW and mission partners to collaborate, label data, rapidly onboard, experiment with, develop, and validate emerging AI/ML tools. CDAO is seeking innovative and modernized approaches to the challenge areas listed within this Call for Solutions. The overall objective is to iteratively develop and demonstrate a next generation SUNet that is optimized for rapid experimentation, development, testing, and validation of AI/ML tools, as well as data labeling, off the DoDIN.
