As part of this exciting transition, we aim to implement an advanced EV charging infrastructure that will seamlessly support Council’s vehicle fleet at the new location. Installing EV charges at 68 JQ is a crucial part of Council’s commitment to Te Atakura - First to Zero blueprint for achieving net zero emissions by 2050. This procurement aims to modernize our infrastructure, reduce operational costs and promote sustainable transportation. The EV charging solution must support efficient fleet operations at our new premises and be scalable to adapt to evolving fleet requirements. We seek a supplier who can deliver a cost-effective, reliable and future-ready EV charging infrastructure, initially focusing on the new premises with scalability to other sites as needed. The successful Respondent will have substantial experience, a proven track record, and the capability to meet the project's timeframes and deliverables. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to submit a proposal for the supply, installation, and maintenance of AC EV chargers at 68 JQ. The EV Charging Infrastructure must be operational by 30 January 2026. A briefing session for interested Respondents will be conducted during site visits scheduled on the 16th and 17th of June 2025, at 10:00 am.
