The pavements under these roads are renewed at a rate of approximately 3km each year when they have reached the end of their useful life. Previously we have tendered a package of pavement rehabilitation sites each year. To create efficiencies whilst still ensuring value for money is obtained for our ratepayers, we are looking to create a panel of construction partners to deliver pavement rehabilitation and re-sealing works long term. This is an opportunity for a physical works contractor, with pavement rehabilitation and re-sealing experience, to be part of that construction panel. The panel is split into two distinct work categories. Granular Pavement Rehabilitation works, and Asphalt Pavement Rehabilitation works.
