This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 335312 (size standard of 1250 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. \nThe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing Emergency Generator for Loma Linda VA Medical Center. \nThe list of DRAFT characteristics is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, of the supplies/services that are required. \nIf your company is interested and capable of providing the required supplies/services, please provide the information indicated below. Response to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: \n(1) Submit your capabilities statement illustrating how your organization can/cannot meet the list of DRAFT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SOW requirements. For instances where your company cannot meet the DRAFT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SOW requirement(s), please explain. For instances where your company can meet the DRAFT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SOW requirement(s), please show how your company meets/exceeds each requirement. \n(2) Please review the list of DRAFT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SOW requirements and provide any additional feedback or suggestions. If none, please reply as N/A.\n(3) Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.\n(4) Is your company considered small under the NAICS code identified in this RFI?\n(5) Are you the manufacturer, authorized distributor, and/or can your company provide a solution to the required supplies/services described in the list of DRAFT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: \nSalient Characteristics Caterpillar Generator Model 3516C QTY 1\nGenerator provided must be able to parallel to the existing CAT 3516C generator\nMust be compatible with CAT 3516C generator\nDimensions of new generator need to be able to fit onto existing concrete pad that was poured to accommodate a CAT 3516C generator.\nMust provide 2500KW at 12,000 kva, 150 amps.\nElectrical and fuel hook up locations need to match the existing utility stub ups in the concrete pad configure for a CAT 3516C generator.\nWeather protective, sound attenuated enclosure must be provided, that limits noise to 85 dB when measured 5 feet away.\nSteps and platform to be provided on each side of the enclosure.\nMust meet California emission standards.\n\n\nInstallation: is required.\nSALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must have salient characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities.\n\nWARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: Government requirement for standard manufacturer industry warranty term. \n\nPERFORMANCE: 180 days ARO\n\nDELIVER TO: VA Loma Linda Health Care System, 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357-1000\nDelivery is FOB Destination. \n\n(6) If you are a large business, do you have any designated/authorized distributors?
