IntroductionFollowing the release of the 2024 National Defence Strategy (NDS), updated Integrated Investment Program (IIP) and Defence Industry Development Strategy (DIDS), Space and Cyber Capabilities Division (SCCD) will host the SCCD ‘Capable and Sustainable' - Space Domain Classified Industry Forum.Thank you for your interest in attending ‘Capable and Sustainable’ – Space Domain. This forum is open to Defence Industry that have a current or future interest in supporting Defence in delivering Space capabilities.‘Capable and Sustainable’ - Space Domain Forum will be held on Friday 22 August 2025 at Catalina House, Majura Park, ACT.Registrations close 16:30 Friday 25 July 2025, to allow time for the vetting and feedback on the nominations.Nomination outcomes will be advised by Friday 04 August 2025.The final program will be provided closer to the event.You are required to complete a form to register for attendance at ‘Capable and Sustainable’ - Space Domain Forum. Nominations for industry attendance are restricted to two representatives per company.Event OverviewThe purpose of this forum is to provide an overview of our threat environment, our challenges and our strategic intent and priorities for future capability development. The ‘Capable and Sustainable’ - Space Domain Forum will maintain a constructive dialogue with industry and provide an avenue for Defence Industry and Academia, to share their views on broader opportunities and challenges. Defence subject matter experts will discuss the current and future capabilities and pressures to give industry the opportunity to understand where they can engage, invest and contribute to delivery of Space capabilities.The discussion will be held at the Secret (NV1) level. All personnel in attendance will require an active NV1 or higher security clearance.Each organisation may nominate up to two attendees, in priority / preferred order to attend. We will confirm your attendance by 04 August 2025 via email. The Commonwealth reserves the right to determine who can participate at its sole discretion.
