We invite you to review the attachment to the RFI and provide your feedback on the proposed procurement model for the RoRS SH22 Upgrade Station Access: Construction, based on the information currently available. Particularly, we are interested to know if you will be interested in participating in the upcoming tender under the proposed delivery model. This RFI provides project information ahead of the tender which will be advertised separately. This request is provided as an early indication only of the project scope and will not form part of any future tender documents or contract documents. NZTA wishes to procure a contractor to deliver the intersection upgrade. We expect a contract will be awarded in November for construction to start on January 2026, and open for travel by 30 June 2026. The RoRS SH22 Upgrade Station Access Construction comprises: - Widening of the SH22 and Jesmond Road to accommodate additional turning lanes - Signalisation of the intersection - A new access road extending approximately 100 metres from the new signalised intersection. Remainder of the access road will be delivered separately by KiwiRail. NOTE: This is NOT the commencement of a tender process or a registration of interest to tender.
