As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238210 and has a size standard of $19 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00.\nScope of Work: \nThe scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following:\nThe contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the job to replace the SCI steam coils. The project is primarily a mechanical project and some electrical work to replace the existing steam pre-heat coils in seven air handling units located on the 5th floor mechanical room. The work consists of demolishing the existing steam coils, and selective steam and condensate piping. A new water/glycol loop with two pumps and a plate and frame heat exchanger will be constructed to serve new water coils in the air handling units. An additional distribution pump on the boiler hot water system will be added alongside the existing pumps located on the 10th floor. All three new pumps will be connected to new power feeds and variable frequency drives. Three existing electrical panelboards will be replaced to support the new equipment. The owner will self-perform the HVAC Controls electrical work and programming, except as otherwise stated on the drawings.
