Konsept, design og ombygging av High Voltage Generator (HOG)

Description

Bane NOR and Trafikverket have procured a number of rotating 10 MVA converters from DB. These machines are originally designed with an output voltage on the generator side of 5100V. To achieve the desired voltage of 16.5 kV in the rail network, the voltage from the original converter machines must be transformed up via a 1-phase transformer. The purpose of this project is to rebuild the stator of the converter, so that 16.5 kV can be achieved directly without the additional 1-phase transformer.
