The Council is committed to ensuring these essential services are delivered to a high standard, safeguarding public health, protecting the environment and enabling development in line with the City’s growth strategy and policies. Council is transitioning to a new delivery model where pre-qualified Contractors will carry out physical connections to the 3-Waters networks, while the Council maintains oversight of Customer design approval, installation quality assurance, and network protection. This new model creates opportunities for skilled Contractors to be part of the City’s growth story by becoming pre-qualified providers of 3-Waters Connections. We seek suitably skilled Contractors to respond to this RFP to pre-qualify against Categories related to new connections, disconnections and upgrades on Council’s stormwater, wastewater, and water infrastructure networks (3-Waters). Customers requiring new connections for their developments will be able to select suitable qualified Contractors from the Connections Panel Register (available on Council’s website), engage and manage directly. Contractors will be from the greater Hamilton region who can adequately service the Hamilton area.
