This Contract covers the maintenance of parks, cemeteries, reserves, and other areas that the Principal may own or have an interest in managing or maintaining within the Waimakariri District. The main tasks involved in this Contract are: • Maintenance of grass, garden beds, amenity and ornamental hedges, and general vegetation control. • Maintenance of artificial turf on sportsgrounds. • Maintenance of cemeteries, including sexton services. • Maintenance of street gardens. • Collection and disposal of loose litter and debris. • Disposal of refuse from rubbish bins. • Disposal of green refuse generated from maintenance activities. • Cleaning and maintenance of public toilets. • Inspection and maintenance of playgrounds. • Maintenance of roses and rose beds. • Maintenance of shrub gardens. • Maintenance and cleaning of beaches (Pegasus). • Cleaning and maintenance of town centres (Kaiapoi and Rangiora). • Maintenance of urban drains, streams, ponds, lakes, and wetlands. • Emergency response as required. • Maintenance of amenity plantings. • Maintenance of annual flower beds. • Maintenance of park furniture and structures. • Supply of materials related to tasks (e.g., toilet paper for toilets, bin bags, fertiliser) Tender documents are available for download from vendorpanel.nz/waimakariri/tenders.
