Description
The project involves the demolition of an existing timber pile wharf and decommissioned pre-cast concrete launch ramp. Construction consists of the supply and installation of a new treated timber crib and span wharf complete with, ballast rock, curbing, ladders and minor electrical works. The project also includes the supply and installation of an offloading floating dock, aluminum gangway and other miscellaneous metal items. The location of the Work is: Hnausa, MB, Small Craft Harbour (50°54'39.6"N 96°58'56.8"W). Familiarization with site: Before submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense, to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply. All Work must be completed by March 31, 2027.
