Preferred (Non-Mandatory) Features * External Remote Temperature Monitoring: For real-time temperature control and emergency venting management. * Remote Fire Area Control: Ability to increase or decrease simulated fire intensity in specific zones, particularly for gaseous fire scenarios. * Training Program Compatibility: Facility must support current training programs and maintain compliance with Maritime New Zealand and NZQA standards. Note there are two simultaneous RFPs for MIT Firefighting Training Facility - this RFP canvasses a facility for an augmented reality training system while the other RFP canvasses a new facility for live fire training.
