Pavement will support modified-heavy load aircraft landing operations. Repair shall include concrete extension of the touchdown zone to meet current mission-assigned platform requirements by replacing 13,354 SM of asphaltic concrete pavement of runway with PCC. Additionally, repair by replacement of threshold lighting infrastructure and those taxiways exit lighting infrastructure that are within the concrete touchdown. Work will include all necessary airfield markings on the touchdown zone. In addition, the Contractor will be responsible for the work associated with the Aircraft Arresting System (AAS) Absorber Shelters.
