The Hamilton Old Courthouse is situated at 116 Anglesea St, Hamilton and is currently unoccupied and has not been operational since 1993. The building is registered on the New Zealand Heritage List as a Category 2 Historical Place and is scheduled in the Operative Hamilton District Plan as a Heritage Item with an A-ranking. The contract is anticipated to be awarded August 2025.
