In particular, the work includes the following: - Completion of approximately 560m of Inlet Pipe and Bulk sewer mains. - Liaising with Council, Council’s maintenance contractor, Horowhenua Local Waters Team, and effected businesses and the public to communicate the programme of works, disruptions and restrictions caused by the works, with HDC assistance. - Providing project boards on site and updated to show progress of the job. - Setting out, trenching including dewatering, shoring, excavation, backfilling, temporary/final surface reinstatement and over pumping as required. - Reinstatement of road, concrete footpath, driveway, unpaved areas, kerbs, and channel. - Location and Protection of existing services during construction, - Decommissioning of existing sewer main pipelines, branch mains and service connection pipes, including existing manholes in relation to construct of new pipelines. - Removal or burying of abandoned manholes - Connections to new laterals, new and existing sewer main pipelines and manholes. - Supply and installation of new manholes and access points. - Traffic management - Construction record information in a format acceptable to Council - Health & Safety for employees and public - All other works desired or inferred in the Contract Documents The objective of this project is to Supply and Install a new Bulk sewer inlet main, to renew and upgrade an existing wastewater Inlet pipe and bulk sewer mains that are at the end of their useful life, with a larger main.
