TENDER FOR ABATTOIR OPERATION AT JOYCEVILLE INSTITUTION Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has identified an opportunity for a business to operate an abattoir utilizing buildings on Federal Crown property. Buildings are located at Joyceville Institution, 3766 Highway 15, Kingston, ON K7L 5E5. Buildings available are a steel-clad structure, approximately 871.2 square meters, and a livestock barn and paddock, approximately 1721.49 square meters. A chute connects the livestock barn to the steel-clad structure. The buildings will be operated and maintained by the successful business independently from CSC. Interested parties can contact CSC Technical Services at ONT.RHQ.Construction-Construction.AR.ONT@csc-scc.gc.ca to obtain a complete tender package. This package will include occupancy details, eligibility criteria, blank offer to occupy, and information regarding method of selection. Offers must be received by June 19, 2026 at 14:00. Any response received after this date may not be considered. Correctional Service Canada reserves the right to reject any or all offers.
