The contract term will cover an initial three-year period, with a two-year extension available based on performance (awarded at QLDC’s discretion). The primary objectives of the engagement are as follows: Ensure QLDC has a robust understanding of the condition of the closed landfills Enable ongoing compliance with resource consent conditions (where applicable) Ensure QLDC’s management of these areas aligns with good practice Proactively identify future investment requirements QLDC does not have the in-house expertise or capacity to undertake these services to meet the consent condition requirements. Therefore, QLDC seeks a qualified external supplier to fulfill these requirements.
