{"description":"This market research notice is being conducted by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17; Plaza Medical Center, 5441 Babcock Road Ste. 302, San Antonio, Texas 78240 for the acquisition of Magstim, Inc, providing detailed Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(TMS) and Maintenance. The Government intends to solely negotiate with Magstim, Inc 1626 Terrance Drive Roseville, MN 55113.\n\nBackground and Requirement: The contractor will furnish machines to include parts and labor and expertise necessary to maintain the Magnetic Stimulation and Maintenance located at the San Antiono, Texas VA Health Medical Center. The vendor shall provide the following coverage on the system for the:\n Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. \n\n\nTHIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition. Due to technical issues, please allow additional time if you re using electronic means.\n\nResponses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.\nThe Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 17, will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Also, prospective contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller to the Department of Veterans Affairs for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with Response to this Intent to Sole Source. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed to Contracting Specialist, Michelle Cunningham.
