See attachment S02 - Q0076- Pricing Schedule - 12 OZ GEL PACKS - TUCSON - 0191 , for the list of items required. \n\n\nB.2 STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS\nGEL PACKS\nDEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS\nCONSOLIDATED MAIL OUTPATIENT PHARAMCY (CMOP) TUCSON\n\nINTRODUCTION\n\nThis solicitation is to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs, Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) in Tucson, Arizona with gel packs to keep medications at required temperatures during shipment to Veteran patients. The gel packs must meet the provided technical requirements.\nSCOPE\nThe contractor shall provide 42,800 cases (48 per case) of gel packs to the Tucson CMOP in Tucson, AZ in accordance with the following technical requirements.\n\nTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS\n\nThe gel packs shall not exceed the following dimensions:\n\nLength: Between 6 7/8 in. minimum and 7 in. maximum \nWidth: Between 5.3 in. minimum and 5.5 in. maximum \nWeight: Between 11.8 oz. and 12.2 oz.\n\nThe gel packs will be placed in four even stacks of twelve separated by a cardboard divider to help ensure that the gel packs freeze flat. Gel packs will be placed in cardboard boxes with two 3 inch by ½ inch evenly placed holes on the long side of box and one hole 3 inch by ½ inch centered on the short side of box. Gel packs should be individually partitioned for quick flat freezing. Box should be designed to have slots that allow gel packs to be frozen quickly and evenly throughout the box to ensure proper freezing.\nThe gel packs shall be delivered weekly frozen by the truckload (22 pallets) from April 1st October 31st.\nThe gel packs shall be delivered daily ambient in bundles of 100 cases from November 1st March 31st.\nFirst delivery shall start on April 1st, 2026, in accordance with the technical requirements. \n\nDELIVERY & LOCATION INFORMATION\nDeliveries only accepted Monday Friday, 12pm 9pm local time.\nDeliveries not accepted on the following observed Federal holidays:\nMemorial Day May 25th, 2026\nJuneteenth Independence Day June 19th, 2026\nIndependence Day July 4th, 2026\nLabor Day September 7th, 2026\nColumbus Day October 12th, 2026\nVeterans Day November 11th, 2026\nThanksgiving Day November 26th, 2026\nChristmas Day December 25th, 2026\nNew Year s Day January 1st, 2027\nMartin Luther King, Jr. Day January 18th, 2027\nPresident s Day February 15th, 2027\n\nDelivery of items shall be shipped to: \n\nDepartment of Veterans Affairs\nCMOP Tucson\n3675 Britannia Drive\nTucson, AZ 87506-5041\n\nWe request the ability to adjust delivery of gel packs based on operating conditions beyond our control.
