Purchase of event organisation, and travel services for a Hackathon, 17-19 June 2026 in Strasbourg FRANCE

The Council of Europe has initiated a political and strategic consultation for a New Democratic Pact for Europe[1] (the Pact) aiming at addressing the current democratic backsliding. The consultation towards the Pact aims to strengthen the foundations of democracy, amplify its benefits, restore trust, and innovate its forms to make it tangible and meaningful for all. Building on the 2025 edition, the 17-19 June 2026 Democracy Hackathon in the Palais de l’Europe, Strasbourg (France), should take a next step to generate actionable insights and technology-driven approaches that will feed directly into the Pact’s consultation and thematic workstreams, supporting its ambition to deliver by the end of 2026 integrated and innovative solutions to address the current democratic backsliding. In that context, the Council of Europe is looking for Providers to provide event organisation, and travel services for the 2026 Hackathon to be held at the Palais de l’Europe, in Strasbourg, France on 17-19 June 2026 (over 2.5 days). There will be a maximum of 80 hackers grouped in teams of 3-4, with 10 mentors.
