In Blocks 1 and 2 urinals will be removed and the space will be converted to a standard toilet cubicle. All existing wc’s, wash hand basins and tapware will be replaced along with the toilet partitioning systems. Wall linings will be replaced to enable installation of new plumbing along with replacement of damaged ceilings and window trim. The Terraflake floors will be ground back and new applied. In Blocks 3 and 6 sanitary fittings will be replaced including hot water cylinders and toilet partitions. Vinyl flooring is to be replaced with new coved up walls. The work is proposed to be undertaken progressively and in a staged manner to ensure that the school continues to have available sanitary facilities to service the student and staff needs.
