The key objective of this RFP is to engage expert consultancy services (planning and ecology) to review, update and provide technical justification to support our resource consent applications to authorise network discharges including: Discharges from the stormwater network; Wet weather overflow discharges from the wastewater network; and Dry weather overflow discharges from the wastewater network. The procurement’s proposed outcomes are to engage professional services to enable us to progress obtaining resource consents for our network discharges. There are existing consent applications for stormwater network discharges and wet weather overflows from the wastewater network. These will need to be revisited and updated to meet current regulatory requirements. We also need to have a consent application prepared to provide for dry weather discharges from the wastewater network.
