Light Command and Control Tactical Server

Description

In 2023 the CAF purchased a small number of Small Form Factor (SFF) servers to fill an urgent requirement for dispersed C2 and ISTAR capabilities. These servers were selected based on the CAF’s ability to rapidly procure and integrate that specific model into the existing LCSS network. 1. 1.1. 1.2. 1.3. While the new system must meet or exceed the capabilities of the existing equipment, there is no need for commonality between the old system and the new system. The Light C2 Server Module is intended to be used by the CAF to provide Command and Control (C2) and Battle Management System (BMS) capabilities in austere and contested conditions. This Module must host and provide local access to the existing C2 software baseline. The ISTAR Module is intended to be used by the CAF to provide Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities in austere and contested conditions. This Module must host and provide local access to the existing ISTAR software baseline.
