The inclusion of drainage activities on sealed roads duplicates those in a separate planned pavement maintenance contract by design, to provide flexibility in allocating works across suppliers operating in different areas of the network. The Contractor will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including grading, surface restoration, drainage improvements, culvert replacements, surface water channel works, stormwater asset maintenance, and emergency works.
