Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Southern is sourcing a Main Contractor to undertake the construction of upgrading the mechanical plant, electrical distribution, and system commissioning at Dunedin Hospital, while maintaining uninterrupted clinical operations. The contracted Works will include: • Delivering a reliable and efficient ventilation system aligned with current operational needs. • Future-proofing ventilation systems to support sustained clinical operations and asset longevity. • Ensuring the system is maintainable and supports long-term serviceability. • Enhancing energy efficiency and system reliability through updated plant and controls. Contractors will be working within a live hospital environment and will need robust methodologies and programmes to effectively manage the requirements and constraints that this creates. The anticipated dates are: Main Works Construction Start | December 2025 Main Works Completion | November 2026 MANDATORY SITE VISIT It is a pre-condition of this RFT that suppliers must attend a site visit.
