Roudebush VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes parts, labor, software and firmware updates, technical support, and system upgrades during normal business hours, all performed by certified Varian technicians in compliance with OEM, OSHA, and VA standards. Varian Medical Systems has met the suitability criteria, as determined in accordance with 41 USC 1901, and the anticipated contract action is hereby publicized in accordance with FAR 5.101 and 5.203.\n\nThe purpose of this notification is to communicate the Governments intent to solicit and award a non-competitive procurement for Varian Truebeam Support Services for the VAMC.\n\nTHIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS OR QUOTES.\n\nThe VAMC requires a one (1) year base period and (4) option year periods as a Firm Fixed Price, Definitive contract with Varian Medical Systems, to provide the required services described herein.\n\nNAICS code is 334517 Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing with a size standard of 1000 employees.\n \nProduct Service Code is J065 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.\n\nThis non-competitive award is implemented as it is the only contractor that meets the suitability criteria as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under FAR Part 12.\n\nMarket research confirmed that only one responsible source, Varian Medical Systems, can meet the government s requirements.
