We will assess all applications submitted to tenders@gw.govt.nz before 5pm on 26 September 2025. After this date this notice will be closed and no new applications will be accepted. We expect to review the size of the panel again in approximately 12 months to ensure that we have enough suppliers on the panel to meet our forecasted needs. If you have any questions, please contact tenders@gw.govt.nz. ------------ GWRC has made the decision to undergo a recloaking project to restore land in the parks and other GWRC sites situated throughout the Greater Wellington region. This will be a massive undertaking that will require hundreds of thousands of plants being planted every year. In addition to the planting, there will be additional restoration services required to ensure the plants are successfully established in the parks and other GWRC sites. Therefore, to be able to deliver this project, we are proposing to set up a Restoration Services Panel ("Panel") to enable us to use multiple qualified contractors at once to deliver the services. Within the Panel, two sub-panels will be established to provide opportunities for a greater number of contractors in the market. One sub-panel will be open for large scale suppliers (Large-Scale Sub-Panel) who can provide, plant or maintain more than 50,000 plants and/or seeds per annum and the other sub-panel will be for smaller or emerging suppliers (Niche Sub-Panel). This is an open panel. New suppliers can apply to be on the Panel during the period the Panel is operational.
