The new model seeks to improve the level and consistency of support for breast, cervical, and bowel screening services, specifically targeting Priority Group People (PGP), who experience barriers in accessing these services, across the three cancer screening programmes – BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA), the National Cervical Screening Programme (NCSP), and the National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP). The intent is to look to award multiple contracts, one for each of the identified priority districts, with each costing a maximum of $330K.
