What we need HDC are looking for a company that can supply suitably qualified staff to advise on best value options for the roof replacement, to write specifications required for tendering the works and to act as Contract Administrator and Independent Certifier for the contract delivering the physical works. What we don’t want We are not looking for a building company to deliver the works. The physical work will be tendered at a later stage. What’s important to us? HDC are looking for a company that can be responsive and can easily have staff on site & available for site inspections, as such will need to be located, if not in Horowhenua, in a nearby region that can easily travel to Levin. The solution for the roof will need to be functional and cost effective. Why should you bid? The HDC Civic Building, located at 126 Oxford Street Levin, is the main Council office building hosing staff, Council Chambers & Horowhenua’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). This building has a high profile in the district, and will provide a number of challenges, such as, the roof replacement work will need to be carried out while the building is still occupied.
