Description
IOM Afghanistan is seeking to establish one or more non-exclusive Long-Term Agreement(s) (LTA) for the provision of road transport services for humanitarian and operational cargo across Afghanistan, including trucks and related services. The purpose of this procurement is to ensure the timely and continuous availability of safe, reliable, and flexible trucking services for routine and emergency operations nationwide. This Solicitation requires both Technical and Financial offer. Financial offers shall be submitted in accordance with the four-part Price Schedule covering transport routes and crane services, and the resulting LTA(s) will be used on an as-needed basis with no minimum volume commitment by IOM. Eligibility: Bidders must hold a valid business license in Afghanistan with at least six (6) months validity remaining at the bid submission deadline. The solicitation documents have been amended to clarify operational, safety, truck specification, labor, and pricing requirements. The amendments include mandatory PPE for loading/offloading laborers, provision of trucks during official working hours for non-emergency shipments, presence of the Service Provider’s representative during loading for shipment verification and waybill stamping, inclusion of indicative truck body sizes and CBM capacity, definition of required laborers by truck type, and revision of the Price Schedule to obtain quotations for trucks with container, without container, and refrigerated container configurations where applicable. All other solicitation terms and conditions remain unchanged.
