The National Property Office (NPO) on behalf of NZ Police, is developing a programme of planned works to replace and/or supplement them, with modern, fit-for-purpose buildings. Many of those projects will suit a standardised, off-site manufactured, modular building solution. The NPO wishes to appoint a panel of prefabricated modular building manufacturers, able to construct, install and commission modular building solutions to meet NZ Police’s requirements for a range of building sizes, types and uses, including Police Stations and other ancillary spaces. The panel appointment process will enable the NPO to verify suppliers meet its preconditions, represent an acceptable level of risk, have agreed to the contractual framework and are capable of delivering and/or contributing to specific facilities and infrastructure projects. Panel members will then be engaged on an ‘as required’ basis, via the panel’s secondary procurement process, for specific contract works.
