A25/15: HMP Review and Update

Description

The National Capital Authority (NCA) is seeking to engage suitably experienced consultants to undertake the review and update of existing Heritage Management Plans (HMP's) for four Commonwealth Heritage listed places - Acton Complex, Blundells Cottage, Lake Burley Griffin and Adjacent Lands and Old Parliament House Gardens.The NCA has prepared HMP's for its 21 Commonwealth and National Heritage places in accordance with Section 341S of theEnvironment Protection Biodiversity and Conservation Act (1999)(the EPBC Act).The review and update of the existing HMP's for these four places is to be undertaken in accordance with Section 341X(1) of the EPBC Act, which requires the review of an existing HMP atleast every five years to assess for consistency with the Commonwealth Heritage management principles, and its effectiveness in protecting and conserving the Commonwealth Heritage values of the place.
