BACKGROUND \nINL is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory dedicated to nuclear energy, national security, and clean energy innovation. The HVAC system at PBF-612 currently includes an air handling unit (HV-AHU-1) with a fuel oil burner and three wall-mounted air conditioning units. The existing burner system is outdated and reliant on fuel oil, which presents operational and maintenance challenges. This upgrade is intended to improve energy efficiency, reduce maintenance complexity, and align with INL’s sustainability goals. \nWork summary will include: \n • Removal of the existing fuel oil burner inside HV-AHU-1 \n • Installation of an electric resistance heater in its place \n\n 3.
