The services to be delivered are defined in the contract specifications and schedules. The primary focus is maintaining a clean and tidy environment in town centres (small CBDs), supported by supplementary cleaning in other urban and rural locations as required. The scope includes both mechanical and manual cleaning to remove litter, debris, leaf fall, graffiti, and other detritus from roads, footpaths, street furniture, and surface water channels. The Contractor may also be required to respond to service requests and carry out additional cleaning as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all town centres, urban roads, cycleways, and footpaths are cleaned to a safe, functional, and compliant standard—supporting network amenity, public safety, and asset management outcomes.
