Medtronic is the sole source of the PillCam capsule endoscopy platform. The PillCam SB3 platform includes the PillCam SB3 capsule, PillCam software v9.0e, PillCam data recorder (DR3), PillCam SB3 sensor array, and/or PillCam SB3 sensor belt. Additionally, the PillCam capsule endoscopy platform includes a collection of capsule endoscopies including the PillCam COLON 2 capsule, PillCam Crohn s capsule, and the PillCam patency capsule. The PillCam SB3 platform is a proprietary technology.\n\nThe Contractor shall work with the Oracle Health and VA teams to create and/or update PillCam system s Interface Control Document (ICD) and to ensure that all test scenarios with appropriate HL7 messages for Order Messages (ORMs), Order Results (ORUs), and Order cancellation are functional\nThis acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
