{"description":"Under Statutory Authority 40 U.S.C. 501 and 41 U.S.C. 251 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Medtronic for, software installation, interface integration, interface support, interface solution testing, licensing, and training to integrate existing Medtronic PillCam GI system with the Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) (Oracle Health). Medtronic is the sole source of the PillCam capsule endoscopy platform. The PillCam SB3 platform includes the PillCam SB3 capsule, PillCam software v9.0e, PillCam data recorder (DR3), PillCam SB3 sensor array, and/or PillCam SB3 sensor belt. Additionally, the PillCam capsule endoscopy platform includes a collection of capsule endoscopies including the PillCam COLON 2 capsule, PillCam Crohn s capsule, and the PillCam patency capsule. The PillCam SB3 platform is a proprietary technology.\n\nThe Contractor shall work with the Oracle Health and VA teams to create and/or update PillCam system s Interface Control Document (ICD) and to ensure that all test scenarios with appropriate HL7 messages for Order Messages (ORMs), Order Results (ORUs), and Order cancellation are functional\nThis acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one-time service. The NAICS Code is 811210.\n\nThis Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be honored.
