RFx ID: 31741870 Organisation: Fire and Emergency New Zealand Open date: Wednesday, 28 May 2025 4:00 PM +12:00 Close date: Monday, 30 June 2025 12:00 PM +12:00 Categories: 85122200 - Individual health screening and assessment services Region: New Zealand Overview: This RFP relates to the Fire and Emergency New Zealand health monitoring programme which is a voluntary annual health check offered to all 14,000 Fire and Emergency personnel throughout New Zealand. The services cover the entire country, which is made up of five regions, with a head office based in Wellington, and regional offices in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Tauranga, and Auckland. Fire and Emergency has paid (career) and volunteer firefighters, as well as support staff, and office-based staff. Each of these groups, especially our volunteers, has different day, time, and seasonality availabilities which the Successful Respondent(s) must be able to accommodate to perform the health monitoring services. Respondents may bid to supply these services as a nationwide service or within a region, or multiple regions. Upon evaluating the responses, Fire and Emergency will consider what will give Fire and Emergency the best services and the best public value-for-money, and Fire and Emergency in its absolute discretion can appoint one of the Respondents that has responded to provide a nationwide service to provide the nationwide service, or Fire and Emergency can appoint by region. If Fire and Emergency chooses to appoint by region, you may or may not be appointed to every region that you bid for. The key outcome of this RFP is to improve the health and well-being of our personnel by making sure that our people have access to regular monitoring so that interventions can be provided before people become very ill, ultimately resulting in a workforce that is healthier, both mentally and physically.
