Introduction UNCDF, through the Pacific Insurance and Climate Adaptation Programme (PICAP), is expanding Climate and Disaster Risk Insurance solutions in Vanuatu to strengthen resilience against climate and natural hazards. Working with licensed and regulated insurance and financial institutions/underwriters, the initiative will deliver inclusive parametric insurance that provides rapid, trigger-based payouts.
