This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 35.016 and 6.102(d)(2). \n\n The purpose of this BAA is to conduct operational pilots of vehicle automation technologies (including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems [ADAS] and Automated Driving Systems [ADS]) at three national park units to inform potential long-term integration into parks’ remote transportation systems, to improve their efficiency and sustainability. The three selected units are Acadia National Park, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and Yosemite National Park.
