Cleaning industrial boilers with blasting sweeping with gas mixture or equivalent, and sandblasting

FREVAR KF is the owner of an energy recovery facility, which has been in operation since 1984. Approx. 75,000 tonnes of waste in the facility is recycled annually. The system ́s two boilers have oven technology, type Widmer & Minibus.FREVAR KF shall enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer, who shall clean the boilers as needed. The method for cleaning shall be blasted sweeping with gas mixture or equivalent. Cleaning will be done when the boilers are in operation. Man hatches are available in the convection part. The same framework agreement shall also include sandblasting. Tenderers shall, at maintenance stops, be able to carry out sandblasting of internal boiler pipes and channels as well as Economizer.
