RFx ID: 32917053 Organisation: Ministry of Education - School Infrastructure Open date: Tuesday, 4 November 2025 9:00 AM +13:00 Close date: Friday, 21 November 2025 5:00 PM +13:00 Categories: 72000000 - Building and Facility Construction and Maintenance Services Region: Northland Overview: Registration of Interest: Awanui School has 5YA funding in place to complete the following works: • Administration Block: Replace existing deck and entry steps, new wheelchair ramp; replace resource room existing joinery unit counter top • Reading Recovery Room: Remove existing hessian board & make good wall linings; Autex installation; remove carpet from deck area and repair where necessary • Canteen Passage way: Autex installation • Room 2: Replace vinyl floor coverings, install new bench & sink; Autex installation • Room 3 Replace vinyl floor coverings, remove & install new bench & sink; Autex installation • Resource Room: Remove existing shelving, ceiling tiles & light fittings; Prepare & install new floor coverings; Create new opening within existing wall to make the resource room and sports store room into one room; Install new gib board ceiling linings, Autex composition wall coverings over existing wall linings • Sports Store Room Replace floor substrate, replace ceiling lining, replace existing door with Aluminium insert window, Autex installation The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract. No Contract related tags will be considered (Construction contracts for professional services and works). The Principal prefers there to be no drawings and specification related Tags. Timeframes for the Contract Works are: i. Indicative start date: 16/03/2026 ii. Indicative Due Date for Completion: 16/05/2026 iii. Limitations: School May be operating, work to be completed around school timetable
