Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. \n\n Solicitation number 1240BE26Q0008 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). \n\n Project: Umpqua NF, North Zone FY 26 Winter Tree Planting \n\n The NAICS code is 115310 – Support Activities for Forestry and the Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. \n\n This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. \n\n Description: This contract requires hand tree planting and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. \n\n All planting sites are located on the Umpqua National Forest; North Umpqua Ranger District. The majority of units are located along roads or within ¼-mile hike, while some units may require traveling greater than ¼ mile from an open road. Road conditions may vary due to snow and mud. Four-wheel drive vehicles and/or tire chains are recommended. Due to high wind events and general winter weather, road access cannot be guaranteed on planting day.
